colours and shapes

Yellow lines deter more people than most other objects.

People seek contact and avoid unknown touch, depending on whether they are in a comfortable environment or not. In unfamilier spaces, we stick to boundries before exposing ourselves in the centre. We are drawn to familer colours and shapes and use them to make connections tell stories and maintain a sense of safety.

This exhibition uses saturated colour and curious shapes to draw people around the room, It investigates points of tension within the gallery’s architecture and explores in infinite potential of human movement
